How
Do You Find The Perfect Dog Walker?
1. Experience... Would
you trust your car to a mechanic who's never worked
on an engine before? Of course not. Your dog is
even more important, so choose someone who has
been in the field for years... Personally, I have
over 10 years of in-the-trenches experience working
with dogs.
2. Passion... It
really frustrates me when I see "dog walkers" who
obviously just do it for the money. In my opinion,
the #1 thing to look for in a dog walker is someone
who LIVES FOR DOGS... And I do. All my friends,
family and clients will tell you.
"If
there's one person I would trust my
dog's life with, it's Christine Meichssner.
NO ONE... And I mean NO ONE, comes
close to her level of passion and dedication
when it comes to dogs.

3. How Many Dogs Do They Have? This
is a biggie... You'll see some dog walkers go around
with armies of 6 or more dogs. I prefer to have no
more than 4 dogs, that way your dog receives extra
attention and care.
4. References... Why should you
trust someone who can't even supply you with the
names of a few happy clients?
5. Certifications and licences... Look
for someone who has a business licence, is insured
and bonded... and has a certificate such as my "Dog
caretaker" certificate I got after 3 intensive
years of on-site training in Switzerland.
I can help you take care of the daily task of walking
your K-9. This will take some pressure off your already
busy life, so you can come home and relax.
